Charlotte Freud has nothing to hide. The granddaughter of Rupert Murdoch, owner of NewsCorp and the inspiration for the HBO drama "Succession," is answering some questions from her followers, particularly when it comes to her evolving looks. The 25-year-old shared some photos of herself in a bathing suit, prompting some comments and questions from the public.
Freud is currently traveling in the Bahamas, and has been sharing photos of herself enjoying her time in the beachy and sunny location. The new photo shows her smiling brightly, with some of her tattoos appearing to have been removed. She's seen wearing a red bathing suit and holding on to a bright red starfish. "I would like to apologize for today's 'your unemployed friend's story on a random Wednesday,'" she joked.
Over the past two years, Freud has showcased a physical transformation, shifting her style and losing some weight.
The post prompted some mean comments, resulting in Freud addressing some of the questions and comments that she receives regularly. "Did you get as much plastic surgery as it seems," reads the comment. Freud replied sincerely, listing some of the surgeries and medications she's experienced over her life, including the weeks when she took Ozempic.
"So flattered. Here's the tea: 1- Lip filler once a year. 2. Nose filler once which I'm torn about continuing. 3. A breast reduction at 21. 4. I tried Ozempic for about 3 weeks and it made me so depressed I stopped it. 5. Most of what I get accused of plastic surgery for is the slim beauty filter on Snapchat lmao," she wrote.
Freud's desire to rebrand and start a music career
Over the past year, Freud has opened up about her desire to step out of the shadow of her family's last name and make her own way in the entertainment world. She currently shares music and songs under the stage name Tiarlie.
"My last name has always been something I can’t avoid," she said in an interview with Tatler. "It’s always been a point of interest, even when I was a kid."
She's discussed her feelings regarding her body and how it influenced the way she dressed, claiming that she opted for black colors to hide the fact that overnight, once puberty hit, she became "the girl with the big boobs."
"My family photos from holidays are hilarious. My sisters are these beautiful tanned princesses, my mum’s there in her yoga pants – and I’m there in chains," she said.
