Brad Pitt is stepping into the holiday season with a gentler rhythm this year, keeping things deliberately quiet as he and his girlfriend of three years, jewelry executive Ines de Ramon, prepare for what insiders describe as a small, intimate Thanksgiving.

While the couple, together since 2022 and living under one roof since earlier this year, have made a handful of glamorous public appearances in recent months, their holiday plans lean in the opposite direction.

This year also brought other challenges, including a summer home burglary and ongoing legal battles with ex-wife Angelina Jolie over their French winery

As one source told People, “They like keeping things low-key and creating intimate traditions.” Another insider added that the pair “enjoyed a quiet Thanksgiving last year with good food,” and this year’s celebration will be “similar.”

The season arrives at a tender moment for Pitt. His mother, Jane Pitt, died in August at age 84, a loss friends describe as “heartbreaking.” A Pitt source told People, “He felt sad for his dad, too. Brad’s very grateful to have Ines. She’s beyond supportive.”

Through it all, insiders say de Ramon has been a steady presence. One told People that she “wants to be there for him, and Brad is very much letting her be that person,” while another noted that “Ines is really close with Brad’s family as well” and reached out with condolences as soon as she learned of his mother’s passing.

Despite the personal turbulence of the past year, Pitt’s professional momentum hasn’t slowed.

Though the couple usually keeps their world small, they recently shared a rare public night out in Los Angeles, arriving early to support friend George Clooney at the premiere of 'Jay Kelly.' A source told People the pair were “very touchy-feely and seemed joined at the hip,” adding, “They looked loved up. He was in a great mood and seemed thrilled to be there to celebrate his friend.”

Their red-carpet appearances remain limited, their official debut didn’t come until 2024, but de Ramon was frequently by Pitt’s side during his extensive F1 press tour. As one insider put it, Pitt “loved having Ines by his side.”

At home, life is quieter. “When they are home, they just relax together,” a source previously told People. Another added that “They are really making their home into a home,” noting the relationship is “going really strong” and that Pitt is “so happy and in love.”

Despite the personal turbulence of the past year, Pitt’s professional momentum hasn’t slowed. Fresh off the success of his Formula One racing film F1, which delivered a career-best $144 million international opening weekend, the actor has reunited with Quentin Tarantino for 'The Adventures of Cliff Booth,' a sequel to the 2019 hit 'Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood.'

“When he works, he throws himself into the project,” a set source told People. “Brad is extremely hands-on with the project. He’s been filming throughout the Los Angeles area and is very involved behind the scenes. It’s a great vibe. He shows up early, is super focused, energetic, and fully invested in the movie.”
