Ben Affleck debuts his own glow-up after Jennifer Garner’s age-defying red carpet moment

Jennifer Garner recently turned heads on the red carpet, appearing to age backwards, and her ex-husband just matched her energy. On Friday, November 21, Ben Affleck was spotted in the Santa Monica location scouting. The 53-year-old was clean-shaven, with a fresh haircut, and an overall positive vibe.

Affleck was with two members of his production team as they scouted for filming locations near the Iranian consulate. The Academy Award winner had a script in hand for the upcoming project. Not only did Affleck appear to have a youthful glow, but he even flashed a rare smile at the paparazzi.

It’s unclear what project they are scouting for, but according to IMDb, the producer, writer, and actor has 9 upcoming films, 5 of which are in development or in Pre-production. There's Turbulence: The Greatest Mind in Formula One, which he is an executive producer on; Thirst, as a producer; Strangers, as a producer; Keeper of the Lost Cities, as a producer; and Apostle Paul, as a producer. 

As we saw with Bradley Cooper's suspect blepharoplasty, it's not just women turning to treatments for a youthful appearance. Affleck’s youthful glow has fans wondering which one of Hollywood's beauty secrets he's been utilizing, like Botox, injectables, or mild surgery.

Earlier this year, in August, an insider told Page Six, “He’s now dyeing his hair, getting manicures and pedicures, getting waxed from head to toe.” “He’s even getting hair plugs and seeing the dermatologist for skin treatments to turn back the clock,” they said. 

The Dunkin’ Donuts diva has even started to clean up his diet, they said. “He’s cut out a ton of the junk,” they added. The source went on to say that these were all things his ex-wife Jennifer Lopez  “wanted him to do when they were together and he totally refused.” 

 While Affleck seems to be having his single renaissance, there is one vice beauty gurus say you should avoid that he’s still not ready to give up - cigarettes. 

He recently went viral when he was spotted outside the Sunset Towers hotel in Los Angeles, taking a long, passionate drag of his little white friend.

Affleck's new vibe comes after reports that he is open to a second chance with his ex, Ana de Armas, now that she is no longer linked to Tom Cruise. “Ben’s happy as can be that she’s back on the market,” a source told Globe earlier this month. “He’s planning to test the waters and see what his chances are for a reunion.”

The insider said, “Their chemistry was off the charts, but back then, life for Ben was still very chaotic. He’d battled addiction, relapsed in 2019, and everything was a little unstable.” “Ben is much more grounded these days,” they added.
