Donald Trump is addressing a common theory that has emerged over the past year. In a new interview, Trump was asked about his children and their odds of following in his footsteps to become president, particularly about Barron, who has become a favorite for some of Trump's followers and supporters.

As she toured through some of the historic buildings' installations, Ingraham asked Trump about his children and their attention to detail. "Do any of your kids have that same delicate attention to detail that you have? Because you can't really teach that," asked Ingraham.
"I think they do. I think Eric is very good, and Don in a very different way is good, Ivanka is, you know."
He continued to list out his children and their skills, saying, "Tiffany is very smart. She was a great student, always a great student. They're all great students, actually they're all great students. And I think Barron's gonna be, uh, tremendous at that. He's very meticulous."
© ANGELA WEISSThis served as the perfect opening for Ingraham, who mentioned the belief that many Trump supporters have, thinking that Barron could become President at some point in his life. "I don't know," said Trump. "I think—"
Ingraham added, "Or Eric, or a lot of people are wondering which child would be the best." Trump showed no preference for his sons. "In a certain way, they all could," he said. While he made it clear that his kids could all be President, it doesn't seem like Trump has give the subject a lot of thought, and like his kids are free to choose what they want to do with their futures and their careers.

© AFP via Getty ImagesOver the past year, Barron Trump has been continuing his studies. He's enrolled at NYU and is attending the Washington D.C. campus, where he can live and be based primarily in the White House, with his parents.
Earlier this year, there were several rumors linking Barron to notorious jobs, including a role on TikTok. “I’m hopeful President Trump will consider appointing his son Barron and maybe other young Americans to TikTok’s board to help ensure it remains an app young people want to keep using,” said Jack Advent, Trump's former social media producer, to The Daily Mail. This news was shared in October, following the Trump Administration's decision to stop the ban of TikTok in the country.
TikTok has been negotiating new regulations over the past year with the U.S. in order to prevent its ban. It's still unknown if an American company is buying the app or what will be done to solve the security issues that have been raised by different lawmakers and officials.
