Charlie Sheen has grown close again with his former ’80s girlfriend Dolly Fox following the release of his memoir, The Book of Sheen, which revisits their onetime romance.

A source told Page Six that the two have “become really close again” since the book came out. While the renewed connection isn’t romantic, the insider noted it’s been grounding for Sheen to reconnect with someone he genuinely trusts. “It’s been relaxing for him because he can totally be himself, and he also trusts her because she’s the only person in 40 years that didn’t f**k him over,” the source shared.

The pair spent time together at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Atlantic City, NJ, over the weekend, where Sheen was performing his “Alive On Stage” show. Fox was seated in the audience and even took part in the Q&A segment.

When she asked whether he envisioned returning to dramatic work after finding success in comedy, Sheen said he was open to mixing genres — then jokingly turned the question back on her. “What would you like to see me do? Don’t say you’d like to see me in your hotel room later,” he quipped.

A bashful Fox responded, “We’ve done that.”

“And we did it so well,” Sheen replied, drawing laughs. He later introduced her to the crowd as “Dolly from the book.”

For her part, Fox described Sheen as her “first love,” telling Page Six, “it’s so great to see Charlie back to being the human being I fell in love with.”

Fox also shared a photo of the two from the evening on social media, setting it to the track “Wild Thing” — a playful reference to Sheen’s iconic Major League role. She captioned the picture, “Caught in the act of being friends for life.” Sheen responded in the comments, “1987 never looked better!”

Reflecting on their bond, Fox added, “That was my first love, and to see him so strong, and really focused… and most of all, being kind to himself. He was so self-destructive, and it was hard to watch.”
