The pair looked happy in coordinated looks as they took photos on the red carpet. Jackman wore a black suit that paired with a white button-up and a navy tie. For her part, Foster opted for a tight black dress and her hair styled wavy and loose.

Their first public appearance together as a couple came a year after they confirmed their relationship, with the two discreetly supporting each other at various plays and shows, with Jackman photographed in the audience at "Once Upon a Mattress," Foster's Broadway show. She's been photographed attending shows for "Sexual Misconduct of the Middle Class" and his Radio City residency.

Jackman and Foster confirmed their relationship earlier this year, when they were photographed on their way to a dinner date as they held hands in Los Angeles.

More details of their relationship

Jackman and Foster have known each other for years, with the two becoming friends in the early 2000s, after working together on different musicals in New York City.

In 2021, the pair starred on the Broadway musical "The Music Man" together, speaking fondly of each other as coworkers. "There are hundreds of people who’ve made this moment happen. But there’s one in particular I pay tribute to - Sutton Foster," wrote Jackman on X, shortly before the show's premiere.

"This show is nothing without you. You’re an exceptional talent and friend. Your joy brings the company of Music Man Broadway to life. Let’s do this!"

The next year, Jackman and Foster both shared news of their divorce from their former partners, Deborra Lee-Furness and Ted Griffin. According to various news outlets, the dynamic between Jackman and Foster played a part in their respective divorces.

Sutton and Hugh’s relationship is the reason Hugh and Deb got divorced,” said an insider to Us Weekly. “A lot of people on Broadway knew, and we kept it quiet because both of them are so nice and great people. Everyone respected their privacy. But there was an affair and overlap. They are really happy now.”
