Keith Urban reportedly dating new woman as Nicole Kidman officially files for divorce

After nearly two decades together, Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s separation is now official, and reports reveal that Keith Urban may have already moved on with someone new.

The couple, who married in June 2006 and share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14, quietly split in June of this year. TMZ first reported the separation in late September, confirming Keith was the one to initiate it. Since then, Nicole has been publicly fighting to save the marriage.

The actress also told ¡HOLA! in January that she was manifesting "love" this year, during a red carpet interview at the Golden Globes. A source close to Nicole told People, “She didn’t want this. She has been fighting to save the marriage.” Another insider shared, “Nicole’s sister [Antonia] has been a rock and the entire Kidman family has come together to support one another.”

Meanwhile, TMZ reports that Keith has rented his own home in Nashville and is showing no signs of reconciliation. According to multiple sources within Nicole and Keith’s inner circle, “all the signs point to the fact that Keith is with another woman. Let’s just say, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked over it.” The insider added, “It’s all over Nashville.”

It's unclear when Keith’s rumored new relationship began, but insiders suggest it may have started after the couple’s separation. A source told Page Six, “Their lives were moving in different directions, and once he quietly set up his own place, it felt like the writing was on the wall.” Friends close to Keith reportedly believed the split was “kind of inevitable.”

Nicole officially filed for divorce shortly after the news of their split went public. The filing comes after a summer spent apart, with Kidman filming 'Practical Magic 2' in London while Urban was on his 'High and Alive World Tour.'

Despite their recent difficulties, Nicole previously spoke fondly of her husband, telling People in 2024, “I’m so lucky that I have Keith who’s just my love, my deep, deep love.” She also credited Keith for helping her manage pre-event nerves, saying ahead of the Met Gala, she overcomes anxiety by “[having] my man with me.”

Though the couple shared a heartfelt Instagram anniversary post just three months prior to their split, insiders revealed to People that their separation “really hasn’t been a secret,” with the two living apart for some time.
