The Beckham family feud has been a giant puzzle to figure out, with it unclear who is talking to whom. As each family event passes, one person who has always been missing is Brooklyn Beckham. For the last few months, there has been a reported feud with the 26-year-old at the center. While he has left clues on social media, he addressed it on Wednesday in New York.
Brooklyn attended the Ryder Cup All-Star match between A-Listers from Europe and the USA at Bethpage Black, where he was interviewed by the Daily Mail. When asked how he's handling all the attention on his family and private life, he kept it cool, crediting his wife, Nicole Peltz, 's support.
"There's always going to be people saying negative things, but I have a very supportive wife," he said. "Me and her, we just do our thing, we just keep our heads down and work. And we're happy."
The eldest of Victoria and David Beckham, 26 years old, said he "never" worries about what people have to say. "Everyone is always going to say rubbish," told the outlet. "I just try and do this, play some golf with some friends. It's good fun," he said.
Inside the event, Brooklyn and former NBA star Toni Kukoc teamed up against comedian Colin Jost and NFL star Eli Manning, with Team Europe losing. After the event, he was ready to get back to his wife and pets. "I have to go back (to Los Angeles)," he told the outlet after the match. "I left my wife with our four dogs on her own, so I have to go back and help out and get back to work."
Brooklyn's rare comments on the family feud come after countless headlines that seem to stem back to his wedding in April 2022. At the time, there was a speculated feud between Nicola and Victoria.
However, they brushed off the headlines, and things seemed to be fine until this year. There was a rumored feud that began to show its head and was undeniable when Brooklyn didn't show up to David's big 50th birthday party.
Then he renewed his vows with Nicola and didn't invite his family, and was nowhere to be seen at his brother Romeo's birthday. The only family member he seems to be okay with is his little sister Harper Seven, whom he wished a happy birthday earlier this year.
Her friend Rebecca Faria later made headlines after she blasted the famous family in an Instagram comment. She called out people "judging" Nicola, who "actually had the guts to walk away" from a toxic family. "Everyone’s been kissing the Beckhams’ ass forever, and Nicola was the first to stand up for her values since she couldn’t care less about their fame or money!" she wrote in screenshots posted by TMZ.
Brooklyn also liked a comment from another user that said if he wanted his parents at their renewal, they would have been. “What if - and it's very possible since none of us actually know them or their relationship - he made the choice not to invite his parents?" The commenter wrote.
