In less than a month, Stella Banderas will be walking down the aisle. The 28-year-old model and entrepreneur is set to marry her longtime love, Alex Gruszynski, in October, and they're getting all the pre-wedding festivities out of the way. Before they say "I do", Stella had a bachelorette party surrounded by the special women in her life, including her mom, Melanie Griffith, and her sister, Grace Johnson.
Stella shared photos from her special weekend on her Instagram, and it looked super wholesome and sweet. There were no stereotypical bachelorette party NSFW shaped items in sight.
It was held at a rural home in nature with pink balloons on the ceiling, playful wigs, and a heart-shaped cake that said "Miss to Mrs."
The soon-to-be bride wore a gorgeous, sheer dress that looked vintage over a white bodysuit, with white heels, posing happily at the entrance of the home with dark sunglasses.
From one of the photos, it looks like her fiancé drove her to the party. The car behind them still had its lights on and the door open, as he stopped there with a giant bouquet. Aside from the free ride, they kept the party tradition, and he didn’t stick around for the festivities.
Once the party started, Stella let loose with her guests, enjoying one of her final outings as a "single" woman. Her famous mom was, of course, there to support her.
shared a collage of some of the polaroids they snapped at the party, and the Hollywood star kept it chic and simple in blue jeans and a black blouse.
Stella also posed with Grace Johnson, who looked sweet and classy in a peachy bronze silk gown. Although they are not related by blood, they have an incredible bond and refer to each other as sisters.
Less than a month away
Stella and her fiancé set their special date for October 18, and the couple chose Abadía Retuerta, a gorgeous Romanesque heritage estate in Ribera del Duero. It combines a centuries-old vineyard with a historic monastery-turned-hotel, a Michelin-starred restaurant, a spa, and even an artist residency program.
The choice of venue highlights Stella’s deep connection to her Spanish roots. Born in Marbella in 1996, she has spent most of her life in the U.S., but Spain remains close to her heart, as it does for her father, Antonio Banderas. He shared his excitement about the wedding's location, telling HOLA!, “Having her get married in Spain fills me with pride." “She’s very Andalusian, very much from Málaga, even if she grew up in the U.S. This is her way of reconnecting with her roots and sharing her homeland with her future husband and his family," he continued.
As for her future husband, Gruszynski has built a career in the entertainment industry. He’s worked at talent agencies and currently serves as CEO of a digital platform that connects creatives and is already like family. “It’s a long-awaited wedding, and we’re all thrilled, because Alex has been like family since they were kids,” Antonio told HOLA!.
