Eiza Gonzalez wants to set the record straight. The Mexican actress recently stood up for Kaia Gerber and her boyfriend, Lewis Pullman, who were recently at a movie premiere together and were accused of having a PR relationship by some people online.
Gonzalez shared her thoughts on a TikTok video that had gone viral. The original clip featured a social media user accusing Gerber and Pullman of carrying out a PR relationship.
“This is not real," said the TikToker. “This is a PR couple. How do I know this? I just know this, I’ve called literally every other PR couple.”
Gonzalez shared her thoughts in the comments section. “The PR couple concept doesn’t exists!” she wrote.
“It’s a made up thing from audience members who don’t want to believe a certain person they like is dating whoever that is. But let me tell you. It’s not real. Everyone who dates each other THAT public IS dating because they want to. No one forces you, no publicist ever tells you who to date. Non existing guys sorry.”
She concluded her post by sharing her thoughts on the couple. "P.S. they're so cute together."
Gerber and Pullman first sparked rumors of romance earlier this year, when they were spotted grabbing some dinner during Pullman's birthday. Since the pair have yet to address their relationship but have been spending plenty of time together openly, attending Broadway shows, kissing in concerts together, and, earlier this week, attending the premiere of Pullman's new movie, "The Testament of Ann Lee."
What about Eiza's love life?
For her part, Eiza Gonzalez has been dating the tennis player Grigor Dimitrov throughout the past year. In recent months, Gonzalez has supported him throughout some of his toughest moments, including when he had to drop out of Wimbledon after sustaining an injury mid-match.
Following Dimitrov's dramatic exit from the tournament, Gonzalez shared her support in an Instagram post.
"Love of my life. I couldn't be more proud of you. You are BEYOND outstanding," she wrote in her stories. "This is just a moment that will pass and will make you even stronger. But watching you today alongside the world was a reminder of who YOU are. You're a winner. We all saw it. And you'll do it again. I love you."
