Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are back on their morning show. The couple, who star on the show "Live with Kelly and Mark," have returned to their program after a short summer break, and are keeping viewers and followers updated on their dynamic.
© Disney via Getty ImagesThe couple began talking about one of the topics they frequently butt heads on: picking a restaurant to go out for dinner. Consuelos revealed that after a recent flight from Italy, he told Ripa to pick the restaurant that she wanted to go to.
"I just got off a plane! You tell me where we're going. You decide, I don't want to decide. I don't want to make the decision. Just tell me where I'm going," said Consuelos.
© Disney via Getty ImagesThe pair continued to bicker, with Ripa saying that Consuelos is the one with dietary restrictions, and thus the person who's most picky about his food. She shared that upon arriving home and before heading out to dinner, Consuelos was falling asleep as he got undressed.
"If you're on a nine-hour flight and you can't wedge in some sleep there, I don't know what to say to you," said Ripa. "Because I know you fell asleep at the restaurant in the middle of dinner, so I know that sleeping in a public space is not a thing for you."
Ripa concluded by saying that her issue with Consuelos was the fact that he wasn't taking initiative. "I want you to do it. I like how you do it," said Consuelos.

© FilmMagicOver the past couple of months, Ripa and Consuelos have been enjoying their vacation and days off with their kids, Lola, Joaquin, and Michael.
In photos shared on the show, the family can be seen spending some time in the pool and on the beach, and playing tennis with Lola. The pair has discussed the change they feel as empty nesters, with their kids all moving out of the house to live on their own.
“The first one is like a bit of a shock," said Ripa in her show in May of this year. "The second one, is like, no big deal. Third one, for 24 to 48 hours, you’re gonna be like, ‘Oh my gosh, what have we done now? Now it’s just us.’”
Still, despite the sad change, there are still some reasons to celebrate. “And then your entire life becomes nudity in the household wherever you want,” concluded Ripa, making the audience laugh.
