You're not alone if you've been watching "Wednesday" and found yourself doing a double-take when Pugsley Addams appears. Isaac Ordoñez, the young actor bringing the role to life, has been stirring up serious déjà vu for fans of the '90s "Addams Family" films. The reason is his uncanny resemblance to the late Raul Juliá, the unforgettable Gomez Addams.

On Reddit, fans blurt it out without hesitation: "I ended up here searching if Isaac Ordoñez is related to Raul Julia?'" Even on Twitter, the vibe check is real: "Isaac Ordoñez has a Raul Julia vibe to him and it's showing."

Isaac himself is in on the comparisons. "Some people have mentioned lately that I look like Raul Julia," he told Just Jared, right after noting people also compared him to a certain cartoon character from "Meet The Robinsons."

What's Fueling This Lookalike Effect?

Social media works like a mirror maze: once a few people point out a resemblance, the observations multiply. From Reddit threads to Twitter timelines, the Raul Juliá comparison has taken on a life of its own.

There's something about Isaac's eyes, his brow shape, and the way he carries a smirk that instantly recalls Juliá's theatrical Gomez. It's not cosplay, it's natural charisma that mirrors a legend.

Playing Pugsley puts Isaac right in the shadow of Gomez's world. The black-and-white aesthetic, the dark humor, the family dynamics, everything in "Wednesday" primes viewers for connections to the earlier films.

A Nostalgia Magnet

This resemblance feels like a sly gift for viewers who grew up with the '90s movies, making Isaac's Pugsley more than just another reboot role.

When an actor naturally echoes an iconic predecessor, it deepens the fictional family ties. Isaac's look strengthens the illusion that this Addams clan could be multi-generational, rooted in the same eccentric DNA.

Juliá's Gomez was electric, larger than life yet warmly human. Isaac channels a similar energy, though in his way, which gives "Wednesday" a bridge between timeless camp and modern edge.

Isaac Ordoñez is giving fans a dose of uncanny, delightful déjà vu. The resemblance is playful, uncanny, and oddly comforting. And whether he's leaning into it intentionally or just being himself, fans can't stop smiling at the connection.

'Wednesday S2' BTS

Another actor in Netflix's "Wednesday" is Victor Dorobantu. While the Romanian magician-turned-actor's face is never seen onscreen, he is living proof that even the smallest actor can have the biggest personality. Dorobantu didn't start in acting, still he is the show's most famous disembodied appendage.

Now, in "Wednesday" Season 2, the actor has revealed just how much work and awkward poses go into making "Thing" feel real. His behind-the-scenes videos pull back the curtain on an unexpectedly physical job that requires hours in a full-body blue morph suit.
