Brad Pitt is back. The iconic Hollywood actor returns not only as Cliff Booth, the most captivating stuntman in Tarantino's Hollywood, but also as the golden-haired beauty who captivated us in the nineties. The first images from the set of The Continuing Adventures of Cliff Booth, the spin-off of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, have surfaced, and the actor, now 61, is attracting attention with his new appearance.

Pitt, who in recent years had gone for a much shorter and more youthful haircut that suited him perfectly, now reappears thanks to movie magic with long blond hair and a matching blond mustache that, judging by the photos, looks completely natural. The result is a roguish heartthrob vibe that is impossible to resist. That long hair instantly takes us back to some of his most iconic roles from the nineties.

Who could forget the wild-hearted Tristan Ludlow from Legends of the Fall (1994), his golden hair billowing in the breeze? Or the melancholic Louis de Pointe du Lac in Interview with the Vampire (1994), where his long, well-groomed hair highlighted the fragility of the character next to the sinister Lestat played by Tom Cruise? And let’s not forget his role as Heinrich Harrer in Seven Years in Tibet (1997), with layered platinum blond hair that gave him the air of an existential explorer.

This return to long hair is no coincidence. The context is different. The sequel to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is set in the 1970s, and Cliff Booth, Tarantino’s coolest stuntman, comes back to life with a look that blends nostalgia and boldness. And the truth is, Pitt pulls it off effortlessly.

Filming for the Once Upon a Time in Hollywood spin-off The Continuing Adventures of Cliff Booth begins in 1977, eight years after the events of the original movie. Cliff Booth, after his run-in with the Manson clan, is still working as a fixer in the film industry. Directed by David Fincher and written by Quentin Tarantino, the movie promises a darker and more introspective tone. And while Tarantino is not directing this time, his signature storytelling is clearly present.

Production is underway in Los Angeles, and early images show Pitt in a yellow printed shirt, jeans, and aviator sunglasses, staying true to the character’s seventies vibe. The blond mustache, already nicknamed Booth’s new accessory by some, adds a charming touch of faded glamour. According to Just Jared, the cast includes Elizabeth Debicki, Scott Caan, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen.

And what about the hair? Yes, Brad is wearing his hair long again, but not out of nostalgic whim. It is a script requirement. The story is set right in the middle of the seventies, and the character of Cliff Booth calls for that laid-back style of the era when men wore their hair long and full. It was the trend. This project showcases the magic of filmmaking once more. In the first images from the set, we see Pitt with long hair even though he had recently taken a sharp turn with his look, sporting a buzz cut, a much more casual style, and that relaxed maturity that actually suits him quite well.

Who doesn't recall the wild Tristan Ludlow from Legends of the Fall (1994), his golden mane fluttering in the wind? Or the melancholic Louis de Pointe du Lac in Interview with the Vampire (1994), where his long and carefully styled hair highlighted the fragility of his character next to the evil Lestat played by Tom Cruise? And let us not forget his role as Heinrich Harrer in Seven Years in Tibet (1997), with long layered platinum blond hair that gave him the look of an existential explorer.

In any case, this project marks a reunion between Brad Pitt and David Fincher. Together they created some of the most iconic films in modern cinema, like Fight Club, Seven, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. The movie is set to arrive on Netflix in 2026, and while it is not considered a direct sequel, it does expand Tarantino’s universe. Pitt has said it is more of an episode, a kind of spin-off that dives deeper into Booth’s character without repeating old formulas.

So yes, Pitt has stopped time or at least turned it back a few decades. We're glad to see him with long hair again, even if it's just for show.
