Sofia Vergara was just in her European travel era, and now she's in recovery mode. The actress is once again recovering from knee surgery, and despite just being under anesthesia, she still looks flawless. The actress took to Instagram on Friday to share a selfie in a hospital gown.

© @sofiavergaraLast year, Vergara had opened up about her first major knee procedure in April, sharing a photo of her then-boyfriend, orthopedic surgeon Justin Saliman. “If u ever get a [major] knee surgery make sure u Get a handsome doctor who will sleep with u that night...! Luv u,” she wrote at the time, giving fans a rare glimpse into both her recovery and her relationship.

The couple was on and off following her divorce from Joe Manganiello. They were first linked in October 2023, but in January 2024, at the Golden Globes, she made it clear she was single, telling Access Hollywood she was hoping for “Health, money," and "a boyfriend” for the new year. “Or a lover, maybe," she added.
Since then, she's sparked rumors with Douglass Chabbott, who was along on her birthday trip. She also reportedly had a "summer fling" brewing with Tom Brady, which caused some controversy after it was reported that he said she was "too old" for him, which was quickly shut down by his camp.

In the months following that first surgery, Sofía kept things real about the day-to-day limitations of recovery. She mentioned on Jimmy Kimmel Live that she had to ditch her signature heels and wear sneakers to events. “Sorry I’ve come to your show in tennis shoes,” she told Kimmel. “I don’t even want to look down. Tennis shoes are only for sports activities and touristy activities.”
Just weeks before this latest surgery, Vergara celebrated her birthday with a European getaway, hopping between Paris Fashion Week, Madrid with Karol G, and an A-list charted yacht. And she was definitely wearing heels, unless she was barefoot in a bikini.
Time will tell how long Vergara will have to wait before she puts on a fresh new pair of heels.
