Jennifer Lopez is officially 56, and she's shaking her "famous a**" to celebrate. The Latina icon is currently on her Up All Night tour, and she rang in her birthday on July 24th with a lavish party in Turkey. In honor of her special day, she also dropped a track, called "BIRTHDAY," which opens with, "Name on top of the cake, it's my birthday / I'ma make this famous ass shake, it's my birthday." Which is exactly what she did.

It marks JLo's first birthday since her divorce from Ben Affleck. This year's celebration is wildly different than where she was last year on a personal level. It was around this time that rumors were flying about a possible divorce. They had just publicly listed their mansion, which they have still not been able to sell.

It's also a full circle moment for Lopez. She gets to celebrate her 56th birthday while on tour, a year after she canceled her 2024 North American tour. “I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary," she told fans in June on her OntheJLo website.
Over a year later, Lopez has been crushing it on tour. Her six-pack abs are front and center, and she looks amazing. The fun is far from over, too. She has 10 more shows in Romania, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Armenia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, and Italy, before her final show on August 12, in Italy.

Starring Diego Luna, it's set to hit theaters on October 10, 2025. While Lopez told Deadline she didn’t “even want to begin the conversation” about the Oscars, she admitted, “Of course, I would love it to get the recognition that I believe it deserves.”
One of the producers on the musical is her ex, Affleck, and it was one of the biggest movies for sale at Sundance, per Deadline. Roadside Attractions, Lionsgate, and LD Entertainment confirmed their acquisition of North American rights in March.
It would be her first Academy Award nomination after what many believe was a "snub" in 2019 when she was not nominated for Hustlers.
