Ivanka Trump is remembering her dear mother three years after her death. Ivana Trump was Donald Trump's first wife and died on July 14th of 2022, a date that Ivanka has memorialized without fail ever since her passing, sharing with her followers sweet photos and captions that remember some of Ivana's best traits.
The photos were pulled from Ivanka's personal album of images and show Ivana in all manner of situations. One of them showed Ivana in a stunning green dress alongside Ivanka when she was little, holding on tightly to her waist. Ivana sweetly held on to her daughter's head. The image appears to be captured at the Trump mansion.
While Ivanka shared some images of Ivana in different social situations, she shared plenty of intimate photos, including one of Ivana with her sons, Donald and Eric. As she holds on to Eric, her eldest son leans towards her and drops a kiss on her nose.
More images show Ivana alongside her mother, Marie Zelnickova, with the two dressed in pastel colors and holding on to champagne glasses, cheering towards the camera, and practicing some of her favorite activities, including skiing.
The photo shows Ivana and Ivanka some decades ago, both of them skiing in fashionable outfits. Ivana is seen wearing blue tights and a fashionable sweater, topping it all off with a white furry hat. In the case of Ivanka, she wore a white bodysuit with prints, capping it all off with a white beanie and some sports glasses.
Ivanka's tight bond with her mother
Ivanka shared a tight bond with her mother, perhaps because she was her only daughter. "I love and miss you mom. Not a day goes by without you in my heart," she wrote in the caption.
Ivana died in 2022, when she was 73 years old, after falling down some stairs and sustaining fatal injuries. She died in New York and was found in her apartment on the Upper East Side of Manhattan in the afternoon, after they received a phone call reporting the fall.
Ivanka remembered her mother this Mother's Day. “Today, I’m holding close the beautiful memories of my mother, Ivana — her strength, humor, and love continue to guide me every day,” she wrote in an Instagram post.
“I feel her presence in so many moments, especially as I raise my own children.”
