The actress and singer debuted a bold new look in an Instagram post shared on Friday, July 11, as she continued celebrating her 45th birthday. In a series of snapshots, Simpson showcased her freshly darkened hair while striking poses in both solo and group shots. Dressed in a glittering, sheer ensemble, she looked radiant alongside family and friends.
Adding to the glamour, the mom of three completed her birthday look with a long black coat, statement jewelry, oversized silver heels, and a sleek black handbag. In the caption, Simpson marked the milestone with a playful nod, writing, "Fancy dive into 45 💫✨💫."

This isn’t the first time Simpson has played with her hair color recently. Back in May, she appeared on the season 23 finale of American Idol with a freshly dyed dirty blonde look, complete with sun-kissed highlights.
That transformation came courtesy of her longtime friend and celebrity colorist Rita Hazan. Hazan described the look to PEOPLE as "more natural," likening it to "a kid on the beach."
