Patrick and Brittany Mahomes are sailing past the drama, literally. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback and his wife celebrated the Fourth of July aboard a luxury yacht, sharing cuddly, sunny photos that quickly crushed the recent breakup speculation.
Brittany, 29, posted festive moments on Instagram, showing off her chemistry with Mahones while both wore coordinated red, white, and blue outfits, soaking up the holiday with friends and family.
Recently, fans had raised questions about Patrick and Brittany’s relationship after a video showed a tense moment between them during a swimsuit photoshoot. The clip sparked online chatter about possible trouble in paradise. However, Brittany’s Instagram post, filled with sweet and playful moments, swiftly put those rumors to rest.
In the photos, Brittany looked radiant in a bright blue swimsuit layered under an unbuttoned white shirt adorned with red and blue stars, a subtle nod to the American flag. She completed the festive look with a red and white “1995” baseball cap and matching red-framed sunglasses.
Patrick kept things casual and coordinated in bright blue swim shorts and red-framed shades of his own. Their friends joined in the theme, also sporting the same cap that Brittany wore. The carousel was captioned with a cheeky nod to the occasion: “Red, White and Y’all.”
Brittany, who is also a founding co-owner of the Kansas City Current soccer team, received an outpouring of support in the comments. “Very nice, Pat is a lucky man,” one follower wrote. Another chimed in, “Love u both and thanks for everything u do for KC.” A third added, “Brittany is so gorgeous.”
The couple shares three children: four-year-old Sterling Skye, two-year-old Patrick “Bronze” Lavon III, and a five-month-old daughter named Golden Raye. But the Mahomes family appears to be staying a party of five for now.
In a recent interview with WHOOP, Brittany said, “We’re done, we’re done for a while. Three. I don’t know…I mean, I feel like you can never say you’re done. I think three is all I need.”
Patrick and Brittany’s love story began in 2012 when they were high school sweethearts. They managed to stay strong through college, even while attending different schools.
The two got engaged in 2020 and then tied the knot two years later during an intimate, luxury ceremony at the Olowalu Plantation House in Maui, Hawaii. Brittany later celebrated their first wedding anniversary on Instagram with a heartfelt message and photo carousel.
“Happy 1st Anniversary. One of the best weeks of my life, marrying your best friend it’s one of the greatest things you could do! Nothing beats doing life with you and these beautiful kiddos of ours! Year 1 was wild, but we got many more to go. You and Me forever.”
With their holiday snaps radiating love and laughter, it’s safe to say the Mahomes are still very much in their honeymoon era, yacht parties, matching sunglasses, and all.
