While much of Hollywood descended on Venice last weekend for the star-studded wedding of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez, Salma Hayek was notably absent from the guest list, and for a heartfelt reason. The Oscar-nominated actress chose instead to spend quality time with her 17-year-old daughter, Valentina Paloma, at England’s legendary Glastonbury Festival.
Teaming up with her husband, French billionaire François-Henri Pinault, the couple divided their weekend plans. He represented them solo at the so-called “wedding of the year,” while Salma headed to Somerset to soak up music and muddy fields with Valentina.

Alongside close friends, Salma and her daughter danced, sang, and fully immersed themselves in the festival spirit. It’s unclear whether they attended all five days of Glastonbury, held this year from June 25 to 29, or just the weekend; however, one thing is sure: the mom and daughter made every moment count.
One standout highlight? The electrifying performance by Charli XCX. Hayek posted clips from the British pop star’s set and even hinted at meeting her, captioning a carousel of images and videos with, “Glasto dump part 1 #GlastonburyFestival 🪩🎪🎉 #glastonbury.” In the footage, mother and daughter are seen singing along, dancing, and enjoying each other’s company.

In other behind-the-scenes moments, Salma captured Valentina letting loose, dressed in denim cutoffs, a breezy white crop top, boots, and her hair styled in braids; she looked every bit the part of a festival-goer.
Adding to the buzz, a group photo made the rounds on social media showing Hayek alongside Anya Taylor-Joy, Alanis Morissette, Chelsea Handler, Minke, Malcolm McRae, and Delevingne, all soaking in the Glastonbury experience.

Salma’s commitment to family doesn’t end with Valentina. The actress has also been deeply involved in the lives of her stepchildren. Just recently, she proudly attended the high school graduation of Augustin James, the son of François-Henri Pinault and supermodel Linda Evangelista.
