Cazzu is opening up about one of the most complex moments of her life. The Argentine singer is revisiting her pregnancy announcement, an iconic moment that took place onstage, in a concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with her breaking the news to thousands of her fans by proudly displaying her pregnant belly.
In an interview with the YouTube channel "La Heladera," Cazzu shared that revealing her pregnancy was something that she was forced to do. "It was a very chaotic moment in my life. The news about my pregnancy had begun to filter out. I was very sad because we didn't know how that had happened," she said, referring to herself and her then partner and father of her child, Christian Nodal.
"How was such a special moment stolen from me?" she wondered sadly.
Cazzu shared that by that time, there were many rumors of her pregnancy, prompting her to make the decision to take over and share the news herself. She and her team opted for her to make the reveal onstage, as she performed the song "La Jefa," which is one of her most famous songs, known for its empowering and feminist message.
"I didn't want to come out with my pregnant belly and this sweet and gentle musical background. No, no, no! This is how I am pregnant," she said.
Cazzu broke the news at the start of the show, showing off her belly and retaking the narrative. "It was beautiful and one of the best experiences of my life," she said. She is now the proud mom of Inti, who is 2 years old.
Cazzu's cryptic Father's Day message
Earlier this month, Cazzu celebrated Father's Day by sharing a photo of herself in front of the mirror, accompanied by a message that prompted a lot of conversation. "Happy Sunday. Happy Father's Day to the dads who take care of their children," she wrote.
While the post didn't name names, many took her words as a thinly veiled jab at Christian Nodal.
Despite all the speculation, Nodal remains a figure in Inti's life, with their last public outing recorded on May 27th, when Cazzu traveled to Mexico to drop off Inti with her father.
