Elon Musk allegedly said he fathered a child with a Japanese pop star

The Tesla founder also reportedly said he would give his sperm to anyone

Elon Musk reportedly claimed that he fathered a child with a Japanese pop star and is willing to donate his sperm to anyone wanting to conceive, as outlined in a recent report by The New York Times.

The article explores how the 53-year-old entrepreneur’s personal life has shifted since he became involved in former President Donald Trump’s political campaign,  including allegations of drug use and familial conflict. Known for his outspoken views on procreation, the father of 14 is said to have told Ashley St. Clair that he had a child with an unnamed Japanese pop singer and expressed his openness to providing his sperm to others seeking to have children.

“He made it seem like it was just his altruism and he generally believed these people should just have children,” St. Clair told the publication.

Musk’s journey into fatherhood began in 2002 with the birth of Nevada Alexander, his son with Canadian author and then-wife Justine Wilson. Sadly, Nevada passed away at just 10 weeks old. The couple later had five more children: twins Vivian and Griffin, followed by triplets Kai, Saxon, and Damian.

In 2020, two years after Musk and artist Grimes became romantically linked, the pair announced the birth of their son X Æ A-12. They later had two more children together — daughter Exa Dark Sideræl and son Techno Mechanicus.

Around the time of Exa’s birth, Musk also became the father of twins Strider and Azure with Shivon Zilis, an executive at Neuralink, one of his companies. Insider later revealed that the twins were born in November 2021, and the pair welcomed another child, Arcadia, in February 2024.

Then in February 2025, St. Clair disclosed that she and Musk had a baby together, later named Romulus. Around the same time, Zilis announced the birth of her fourth child with Musk, a son named Seldon Lycurgus, though the exact birth date was not provided.

St. Clair, who previously served as a Senior Advisor to the President, has reportedly said Musk has shared ambitions of fathering a “legion-level” number of children before the world ends. An earlier Wall Street Journal piece from April stated that Musk views his children as a “legion,” referencing a Roman military unit consisting of thousands of soldiers.
