Sophie Turner is giving fans a rare glimpse at her relationship status with Joe Jonas.
Despite a messy, very public divorce and custody battle, it seems like the former couple are now on good terms. Turner proved that switch as she showed her support for the singer’s new album, Music For People Who Believe in Love, on Instagram this week.
“Go go @joejonas,” the Game of Thrones alum posted on her Instagram Story Saturday, adding a link to the project. Jonas’ new album is currently available for streaming after dropping on Friday. Following such a heated divorce, it's nice to see the exes supporting one another in their creative endeavors.
In a TalkShopLive stream on Wednesday, May 21, the former Disney Channel star — who called it quits with Turner in September 2023 — revealed how his divorce specifically inspired the song, “Only Love.”
“I was seeing somebody at the time and I was kind of having this idea of dating again. It was really scary and intimidating,” he said. “Love takes different shapes and forms and I was rediscovering what that was.” The singer went on to say the person he was dating at the time quickly dismissed his fears by telling him, “Well, it’s only love.”
Jonas, 35, and Turner, 29, finalized their divorce in September 2024, which came after a contentious custody battle over their two daughters, Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2. The actress previously filed a lawsuit, accusing Jonas of withholding their daughters’ passports and preventing them from returning to England, her home country. He continuously denied these allegations.
Turner later dropped the filing once they reached a co-parenting agreement, and now, things seem to be going a lot smoother in their relationship as co-parents.
The Dark Phoenix actress quickly moved on from her marriage with British aristocrat Peregrine Pearson, though it's not clear if they're still together as the pair sparked breakup rumors in April after nearly two years of dating. Turner went public with her relationship with Pearson in October 2023, a month after she was served divorce papers from Joe Jonas.
