Jessica Biel says one of their kids is already drawn to the entertainment world

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake have gone through a lot over the years as parents in the spotlight. While some celebrities love sharing their kids' lives with the world, they've been very good at maintaining their privacy, and as they get older, are doing what they can to communicate and make the right decisions about them in public.

With A-list parents like Biel and Timberlake, their mini-mes have the fast track to stardom, and she recently revealed one of them has an interest in entertainment. Biel is currently doing press for her new Amazon Prime TV series, The Better Sister, and in an interview with E! She shared that they have a future DJ on their hands. 

The couple shares Silas, 10, and Phineas, 4, and when asked if any of them are showing interest in following in their footsteps, she said Silas has an interest in acting and music. "He’s just getting that kind of confidence, and kind of his own attitude is coming out," Biel explained. 

She went on to call him an "aspiring DJ" and said he even DJ’d his own 10th birthday party. “He was working his party, and it was so fun," she said. It seems like Silas has some pretty good taste, too, that spans decades. "He mixes things from Jackson 5 to Justin to old school stuff, doo-wop stuff, I mean everything," the proud mom explained.

But while Silas has a creative spirit, Biel wants him to experience childhood, and not contracts. In an interview with InStyle, the proud mom said Silas would probably work all the time if he were a child actor, but she wants to wait until he's 18 to decide to pursue anything professionally. 

"That's your choice. That's what I would like to hold on to, if possible, for him, you know?" she shared. Of course, she can't shield him from the world forever, but as he gets older, they're figuring it out together, which she admits can get "tricky." "We do really try hard not to expose them in a way that they're not comfortable with," she told InStyle.

When she took the aspiring DJ and tennis lover, Silas, to the US Open in New York in 2024, she and the then-9-year-old had a conversation beforehand. "We talked about photographers. You know, "Are you comfortable with that?"' She told the outlet. "He can't make these decisions on his own, but at this point, we can at least discuss what his opinion is around it."

We will have to wait and see if we see Silas spinning on the ones and twos when he turns 18.
