Eva Longoria is sharing a glimpse of her latest Parisian moment, accompanied by some of her closest friends and inner circle. The actress and filmmaker, currently attending the 78th Cannes Film Festival, took a brief detour from the red carpet to join longtime friend Lauren Sánchez for an unforgettable bachelorette party ahead of her wedding to Jeff Bezos.
“It’s so nice to celebrate love. It’s just the best feeling in the world to be there and go, ‘Yay, love,’” Eva told People at the French Riviera. The celebration, held on Friday, May 16, brought out a select group of Lauren’s celebrity friends, including Kim Kardashian, Kris Jenner, and Katy Perry.
The group of women gathered in Paris for an intimate and stylish pre-wedding weekend ahead of Lauren’s lavish nuptials to Amazon founder and billionaire, Jeff Bezos.
While Eva explained that her time at the event was brief, she said it was meaningful. “I had to pop in and out, so I wasn't there as long,” she shared with the publication, but made it clear that she had a great time celebrating love.
Lauren kicked off her celebrations at the chic French restaurant Lafayette’s the night before. “The atmosphere was very relaxed and very Parisian,” a source told People. “It was a pre-wedding all-girl party for 13.”
The celebration carried over to a river cruise through Paris, where the group was spotted dancing and having drinks on a rooftop deck. According to the insider, when Lauren requested Earth, Wind & Fire, “everybody got up and danced.”
Before boarding, Sánchez gave followers a peek into the festivities with a snap of the lunch menu at the famed L’Avenue, shared to her Instagram Stories.
Apart from the celebration, Eva talked about her time at the Cannes Film Festival. “Being a filmmaker, it's one of my favorite festivals because of the convergence of not just the film industry, but the fashion industry,” she told the publication.
“The journalists that are here, the conversations that are taking place on this global stage matter in media, and what we do matters in society and in culture and in changing hearts and minds,” she continued. “I think that the greater purpose of the festival is what calls me back every single time.”
