Miley Cyrus took center stage at Moncler’s intimate pre–Met Gala 2025 celebration in New York, surprising an elite guest list with a live debut of her new song. The singer posed with Willow Smith during the special evening ahead of the highly anticipated fashion event.
Held at Casa Cipriani over the weekend, the celebration was co-hosted by Miley, Moncler chairman Remo Ruffini, and former British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful. The musician performed her new song and announced her new album, 'Something Beautiful' which is set to be released on May 30.
Miley and Willow wore all-black looks, with the 'Flowers' singer taking the stage in a sleek black dress. Meanwhile, Willow wore a black asymmetrical halter dress.
Over 200 guests gathered for the celebration, with celebrities and A-list stars in attendance, including Anne Hathaway, Baz Luhrmann, Willow Smith, Jodie Turner-Smith, Colin Kaepernick, Heidi Klum, Laverne Cox, and many more.
“I have a lot of people that I’ve known and loved for a very long time in this room, even a couple of exes… and this song is about something like that," Miley said on stage. She also shared her excitement and intentions ahead of the Met Gala.
“We’re in a week that is focused on outer and exterior beauty and relevance. As much as I love it, and I will be looking sickening, my heart is going to be sickening, too, because I’m there with good intention," she said.
"And everyone that’s ever been a part of my life, or everyone that I’ve ever loved—and there is one that is in this room—I just want to say, I appreciate you deeply for everything that you’ve ever meant to me," Miley concluded.
Moncler shared a glimpse at the evening on social media. "Co-host Miley Cyrus embodied pure visionary energy in Moncler x EE72 by Edward Enninful before the collection’s official launch in September," the brand wrote. "Saturday night’s gathering ahead of the Met Gala brought friends together at New York’s Casa Cipriani."
