George Clooney looks great as he celebrates new milestones. The actor and filmmaker was photographed on a walk in New York, looking stylish with a leather jacket and a cool cap. The photos were shared after news broke of his first Tony Award nomination, a recognition that adds to Clooney's already impressive roster of achievements.
Clooney was photographed walking and giving a light jog through the city as he tried to reach his destination. He wore a black sweater, a matching leather jacket, and some khaki pants, looking like a stylish New York native.
He paired the look with white and black Adidas sneakers, a Bronx Zoo white cap, and black sunglasses.
The photographs were shared on April 30th, one day before it was announced that Clooney received his first Tony Award nomination for his work on the play "Good Night, and Good Luck."

Clooney was nominated for the "best actor in a play" category. He plays the journalist Edward R. Murrow in a stage adaptation of "Good Night, and Good Luck," a film he previously directed to great success. The Broadway play has broken box office records and marks Clooney's debut on the stage.
The play was the recipient of various Tony Award nominations, including best scenic and best costume design of a play. “It’s a thrill to have five nominations for this play,” said Clooney, per The Hollywood Reporter. “For everyone involved, this has been an incredible experience. I couldn’t be more proud or feel more lucky.”
Last year, following the announcement of Clooney's limited Broadway run, he shared his excitement over returning to the stage as an actor.
“I am honored, after all these years, to be coming back to the stage and especially, to Broadway, the art form and the venue that every actor aspires to,” he said in a statement to Deadline.
The Tony Awards are on June 8th and will air on CBS.
