Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco have everyone talking with their new album I Said I Love You First, and fans are buzzing with excitement over the many theories surrounding their music. But now, the duo is making headlines for their latest coordinated looks during a fun and romantic outing.

The couple, who confirmed their engagement in December, are always sharing sweet glimpses of their relationship, but this time, they stole the spotlight at the Knicks vs. Celtics game at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday, April 8. They were photographed looking perfectly in sync and happier than ever, both wearing stylish outfits, perfectly on trend.

Gomez rocked a rich brown suede coat, paired with bootcut denim, camel-toned boots, and a chic black shoulder bag. Her now slightly grown-out bob was styled sleek and straight, giving her a fresh yet polished look. Blanco, following her soon-to-be wife's lead, looked effortlessly cool in cow-print jeans, a camel wool coat, a powder-blue shirt, and black boots. 

The couple looked undeniably in love as they laughed, talked, and even had a sweet moment on the Jumbotron, where the crowd erupted in cheers when they saw the stars courtside. Their outing comes amid endless headlines about her ex, Justin Bieber, and his wife Hailey. 

Cowboy core and Coachella rumors

Gomez and Blanco's coordinated look was part of a growing trend they seem to be embracing— cowboy core. The trend really took off in 2024, with several celebrities jumping on the cowboy-inspired aesthetic. 

Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter album, Pharrell Williams’ Louis Vuitton Paris runway show, and Bella Hadid’s obsession with Western fashion all contributed to this movement, and it looks like Gomez and Blanco are all in, showing off their own take on it.

Of course, the couple’s fashionable outing and new album are stealing the spotlight, but all eyes are also on them ahead of the Coachella music festival. Rumors are swirling that they might hit the stage with The Marías during weekend one, particularly after their fan-favorite collab, “Ojos Tristes,” went mega viral.
