Hasselhoff and Bach were married from 1989 to 2006. While the pair were together for years and starred on various productions together, their divorce was contentious, with spousal support hearings and discussions concluding in 2017.

Following her death, Hasselhoff shared a statement on Facebook on behalf of his family. "Our family is deeply saddened by the recent passing of Pamela Hasselhoff," he wrote. "We are grateful for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult period but kindly request privacy as we grieve and navigate through this challenging time."
