Gigi Hadid shares rare details about Bradley Cooper and their ‘romantic’ relationship

Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper have kept their relationship private since they started dating in October 2023, but Hadid has finally given some insight into their love.

Hadid is Vogue's April cover star, and she opened up about their relationship, calling it “very romantic and happy.” While the model said, “It’s just not part of our relationship to share for whatever reason,” she did share some details about how the Hangover star treats her. “I feel that he gives so much to me: encouragement and, just, belief,” she said.

According to Hadid, the 50-year-old has been encouraging and motivating her to take risks in her career. “For those people you admire to encourage you, it can create so much belief in yourself. Like, what’s the worst thing if I auditioned for this? You jump and take the leap,” she said.

As for how the relationship started, Hadid says they met at a backyard birthday party for a mutual friend’s child. By that point, she said she knew what she wanted and deserved in a relationship. “And then to find someone that is in a place in their life where they know what they want and deserve…and you both do work separately to come together and be the best partner that you can be," the 29-year-old explained.

She also shared some insight into what they do for fun, often opting for theater shows. “Bradley has opened me up to going to the theater more,” she shared. “And that’s something that’s so nice to bring back into my life.”

While their 20-year age gap has always been a topic of discussion, Hadid and Cooper are both parents—Hadid shares 4-year-old Khai with ex Zayn Malik, while Cooper shares 7-year-old Lea with ex Irina Shayk.

Hadid also opened up about what it's like dating as an A-lister. “You want to give yourself a normal experience of dating,” she said, noting that privacy is always on her mind. “You want to believe that people are going to have your back and not call TMZ or go on DeuxMoi or whatever, but you just don’t know,” she explained.

With Hadid opening up about their relationship and the couple dating for over a year and a half, speculation is growing that they could soon make their first red carpet debut. The Met Gala is just around the corner and could be the perfect place.
