Why Yaman left social media

Last summer, Yaman surprised his followers by abruptly stopping updates on his most famous social media channels, including X and Instagram. He completely cleared the former, sparking some stress from his followers.

"I don't benefit from social media. Instead of coming here as a tourist, I came here to work," he said at the time, replying to the criticisms and comments that accused him of leaving his country and his industry behind.

Yaman also shared photos of his other projects, including the series 'El Turco'

Ever since, Yaman has maintained a low profile, including pausing the activity of his foundation, "Can Yaman for Children," which he'd used to promote various issues benefiting children in need.

"Sandokan," his upcoming TV show, is expected to be released at some point this year. The series is an adaptation of the beloved series of books of the same name, following the famous pirate on various of his adventures during the XIX century. It stars Yaman in the titular role, with Westwick playing the role of the villain. The cast is rounded out by John Hannah, Owen Teale, Lucy Gaskell, Alanah Bloor, and more.
