"It’s been really lucrative, and I think financial security is not something that every actress is afforded, so I’m very grateful for that."
As to the drawbacks, Pompeo revealed that it was difficult to continue to do the same storylines over and over again. “The hardest part is the repetitive nature of doing the same thing over and over. You know, there’s a familiarity with Grey’s that people love, so we can’t change it too much,” she said.

The series is based on real events and stars herself and Mark Duplass as a couple who adopt a girl from Ukraine. As the series develops, the couple suspects that the girl they adopted is not a girl at all, and might just be an adult with a rare form of dwarfism.
The series premieres on Hulu on March 19, 2025.
