Meryl Streep and Jason Momoa made for an unlikely yet fun pair at the SNL50 after-party. The two were guests at Saturday Night Live's 50th anniversary over the weekend, attending the Homecoming concert and appearing on the special episode of the series that aired on Sunday. But it was on the show's after-party that they appeared to have struck a friendship, sharing photos of themselves dancing and having a great time together.
In photos shared on Momoa's Instagram, he and Streep are seen on the dance floor. Momoa wore a black suit over a white button-up, foregoing his bowtie in order to unbutton the top of his shirt.
Streep wore an elegant combination of black drapey pants and a black long-sleeve shirt with golden details on it. Momoa shared two photos of himself and Streep, showing them smiling for the camera, with him unable to control his grin.
The latter image showed the two dancing playfully and having a great time.
More photos in the post showed an overview of Momoa's weekend, which he described as "magical."
"I AM SO GRATEFUL. Congratulations NBCSNL. OHANA. SNL50 what a magical 3 days. GREATEST SHOW OF ALL TIME My mind is blown. My dreams aren’t even this good," he captioned the post.
"Off to the next journey with mi amor," he concluded, referring to his girlfriend, Adria Arjona.

When discussing some of the highlights of his weekend and this moment in his life, Momoa made it clear just how happy he is in his relationship with Arjona. She also shared her thoughts regarding the weekend, sharing a recap post on her Instagram with some photos of her own.
"I’ll never forget this weekend. I got to launch my perfume with @moroccanoil. Celebrated 50 years of the greatest show on TV @nbcsnl. Saw friends and family. All while holding my partner's hand," she wrote.
"What more can a girl ask for."
The pair confirmed their relationship in May of last year, when Momoa was asked about his relationship status during a Comic-Con appearance.
