There's no musical record that Taylor Swift can't break. This week, she became the artist to have won the most trophies at the Billboard Music Awards, taking home 10 prizes. She surpassed Drake, the previous record holder.

Swift was nominated a staggering 17 times. As of this writing, she's won 49 Billboard trophies.
She wasn't in attendance at the event, but sent a pre-recorded message that aired on the show. “This is the nicest early birthday present you could have given me,” she said, referencing her 35th birthday, which took place today, Friday December 13th.
“It’s exactly what I wanted." More of her wins included top female artist, top Hot 100 artist, and top Hot 100 songwriter.
Swift continued her speech by thanking her listeners, who made all of her achievements possible. “Everything that’s happened with the Eras Tour and ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ I just have to say thank you," she said.
"It means the world to me that you guys have embraced the things I’ve made and the fact that you’ve cared so much about my music."

In recent years, Swift has become a Billboard juggernaut, being one of the most prolific musicians in recent memory, with her fans tuning in to her every song.
In 2022, she became the first artist to occupy the entire Billboard 10 list with songs from her record "Midnights," which went on to win some of the most prestigious awards in the industry.
Following the release of "The Tortured Poets Department," Swift broke her own record, having 14 of her songs in the Billboard 20 list.
