Jennifer Garner and her kids are participating in a time honored Thanksgiving tradition. Garner, Fin, 15, and Samuel, 12, were photographed at their local movie theater in Santa Monica, California. It appears like Garner was on chaperone duty, accompanying her kids as they hung out with some of their friends.

Fin wore baggy jeans and a light blue sweater. They accessorized the look with a cross body bag and were seen carrying a green water bottle.
Fin wore all black for the occasion, wearing a t-shirt, sweatpants, and sneakers.
They were accompanied by two friends, with one image showing Garner holding on to one of the boys' shoulder.
The group was seen chatting, likely discussing the film, which is one of the year's biggest releases and likely one of the most watched films over the upcoming weekend, when a lot of families will go to the movies to spend time together.

This upcoming months are some of the busiest for people all over the country, filled with traveling and family gatherings due to the holidays. According to a report shared by the website SheKnows, Jennifer Lopez is planning to host a Christmas dinner for her extended family, which includes her former partner Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner, the mother of his kids.
It's unknown if Garner and her kids will be attending the event. While the relationship between Affleck and Lopez seems to be amicable, with their kids being friends, reports claim Garner was to distance herself from Lopez and Affleck's complex dynamic.
"Her friends feel she shouldn’t have allowed herself to get so involved in helping JLo to fix her marriage to Ben," said a source to The Daily Mail, claiming that Garner took on the role of "mediator" in their separation.
"Jen no longer wishes to have communication with JLo unless it has to do with the kids."
