Chrissy Teigen is bringing Disneyland Turkey legs and KFC to Thanksgiving and it sounds delicious

Chrissy Teigen loves Thanksgiving so much they celebrate the holiday quarterly at her house. That being said, it makes sense she gets creative when it comes to the big one, and she outsources from some hilarious locations. This year she's keeping it fun and full of flavorful shortcuts with the help of places like KFC and Disneyland.

Chrissy has sweet memories eating turkey legs at Disneyland

Everyone knows how good the turkey legs are at Disneyland. At $12.99, the glorious piece of meat can feed more than one if you fully commit. The cookbook author said she has plans to bring the theme park to their dinner table. “We are getting 20 smoked turkey legs from Disneyland," she told Travel and Leisure.

The model made a great case for their delicious flavor, saying, "Anyone that's had those before knows that they taste like ham, they’re crazy to me. Turkey does not get better than that," she shared.

Teigen says it's a go-to for her family who "leans up against the dumpster and pick at turkey legs" while at the park. "That’s one of my favorite moments always, so, that's my cheat for turkey this year," she explained.

But that's not the only establishment she's hitting up. “I love Popeye's and KFC gravy so much, and I've learned through so many years of being stressed out about Thanksgiving or the holidays that if you love the flavor of something, and you really can't do it better than the one you love, or the one you grew up on, just bring it in,” she told the outlet.

While she's pulling some shortcuts, the 38-year-old is still going all in with the sides, with 15 planned, including traditional green bean casserole, her hubby John Legend’s grandmother’s collard greens, and her mom’s famous scalloped potatoes. Teigen will also be handling the stuffing.

In an interview with People, she revealed another one of her holiday hacks since it seems like the only turkey she likes is Disneyland's. "We tend to, like, nestle, like, three big chickens into the same roasting pan, and we find that everyone enjoys it so much more than turkey," she shared.

"I've deep-fried it. I've smoked it. I've done so many different ways but, and, or just like smoking, I'm sorry, baking the legs in gravy or something. I like to try a different way to love it," Teigen continued.

We will have to wait and see if both the chickens and turkey legs are making it to her Thanksgiving dinner this year.
