Jennifer Lopez is still processing her breakup with Ben Affleck: 'She's not looking for new relationships'

In August, Jennifer Lopez went to court to file for divorce from Ben Affleck, thus confirming the rumors of a marital crisis that surrounded them for months. Later, the singer admitted in an interview how difficult this situation was but clarified that her happiness could not depend on other people and that being in a relationship did not define her. 

It has been revealed that the singer remains firm in her position of not starting a new romance as she continues to process her breakup."'Jen, like most people, would love to have love in her life again,' an insider told DailyMail.com. "But the one person she has to give the time to right now is herself. If something presents itself, then life and love find a way, but she isn't looking to get into new relationships."

According to this version, dating is not a priority for JLo at the moment, and as she has shown in her recent public appearances, she is more focused on her professional side. "She is focused on her work and wants 2025 to be the year she gets back to being herself. She isn't actively looking to date right now and is still processing losing Ben again," the source added.

 Apparently, Jennifer wants to implement a new strategy in her love life to get over the breakup with Ben. "She likes being in a relationship almost immediately after one ends, but right now, she is trying something new and seeing if that works out for her better," the insider explained. These reports contrast with InTouch magazine's published days ago, which noted that the "On The Floor" singer was open to dating again to have fun. "It is evident that she is showing Ben what he is missing. She is not looking for a serious relationship, but she wants to have fun. He's on the prowl again," the publication quoted.

However, in response to these reports, a source close to JLo told the British tabloid that the singer "doesn't want to get into anything that could be a temporary rebound."

Ben would be open to a new romance

After his separation from Jennifer, Affleck was romantically linked to Kick Kennedy, the daughter of Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s daughter. These versions, which circulated after supposedly being seen together in public, were never confirmed and remained a mere rumor.
