Snazzy Brad

Brad Pitt showed some smooth moves as he won his first acting Oscar for his role in Once Upon a Time in Hollywood!  nAnd, as we’ve come to expect from his previous acceptance speeches, his thank you speech was not short of jokes and political jabs. "They told me I have 45 seconds up here, which is 45 seconds more than the Senate gave John Bolton this week," Pitt said.

Maya and Kristen for Oscars 2021

Bridesmaids co-stars Maya Rudolph and Kristen Wiig were HILARIOUS as they presented the best production design and best costume design awards, further proving they should have been the hosts of the Academy Awards this year. Kristen’s fashion choice also went viral after some compared her look to... lasagna.

We love to see it

In a year that stood out for its lack of diversity, Matthew A Cherry’s Hair Love – an ode to natural hair about an African-American father, his daughter and her tresses – won an Oscar for Best Animated Film. It was one of the evening’s most poignant moments, proving representation matters.

Surprise! Slim Shady is back

Eminem took us down memory lane with his performance of Lose Yourself, an appearance which hadn’t been announced, causing fans around the world to flock to social media to comment.

And now for a brief paws...

Ok we admit it – when Rebel Wilson and James Corden kind of left us scratching our heads when they presented the award for visual effects while dressed in Cats costumes. Still, it helped us bring out our inner Cat Lady.

Remembering River

Joaquin Phoenix acceptance speech for Best Actor had us all in tears. The Joker star remembered his late brother River Phoenix: "When he was 17, my brother wrote this lyric. He said, 'Run to the rescue with love—and peace will follow.'"
