Earlier this week Justin Bieber decided enough is enough after an Instagram user wrote the reason he married Hailey Baldwinwas to get back at his former love Selena Gomez. The 25-year-old singer took to the social media app to defend both women and to address the rumors about his relationship with Hailey and in the process referenced his relationship with ex-girlfriend Selena. And just how do you think Selena reacted to his remarks? Apparently not too well. According to E! Online, a close friend of the I Can’t Get Enough singer has revealed she didn’t care much for his comments.

“Selena has shut that door and finds herself in a much better place since he’s no longer part of her life. She doesn’t want to have anything to do with either of them two and she doesn’t understand why he mentioned her again,” said the source. “She’s been avoiding Justin and Hailey at all costs and her family and friends are making sure it stays that way,” they added.
Justin and Selena began dating in 2011 before ending their relationship in 2014. In 2016 they briefly rekindled their romance, but ended things a year later. The source added, “Selena has her own life to worry about and doesn’t care about him. Everything in Justin’s life is his wife. Hailey took the commitment of [caring for Justin] when she swore she’d be by his side in sickness and in health.”
It’s hard to say whether The Sorry singer knew how his former love would react to his comments or if she would even have a say at all when he mentioned her. On the claims that he would hurt either woman, the Canada native commented, “I absolutely loved and love Selena. She will always hold a place in my heart, but I am head over heels in love with my wife and she is absolutely the BEST THING that has ever happened to me period.”
