While Naomi Osaka is well-known for her on-court style, Serena Williams has consistently pushed the boundaries of fashion and beauty throughout her iconic career. The 23-time Grand Slam winner often treats the tennis court like a runway, establishing bold nail art as a hallmark of her presence, just as much as her legendary serve.

At Wimbledon, she continued that tradition with one of her most glamorous manicures yet. The tennis icon stepped onto the famous grass courts wearing an eye-catching crystal manicure. While her return to Wimbledon captured sports headlines, her glittering nails quickly became a fashion moment in their own right.

Serena Williams' Wimbledon Nails Were Covered in Sparkling Gems

Williams chose a luxurious gemstone manicure featuring a metallic silver chrome base topped with oversized crystals. Each nail had its own unique arrangement of embellishments, creating a multidimensional effect that sparkled under the Wimbledon sunshine.

The manicure featured large, clear crystal accents, gold gemstones mixed with silver stones, and metallic chrome polish underneath. The nails were rounded with medium length and had a hammered metallic texture on both thumbs.

The dramatic design looked almost like she had a version of her diamond ring attached to every fingertip.

The Perfect Match for Her Engagement Ring

The manicure did more than make a fashion statement. The oversized crystals beautifully complemented Williams' oval-cut diamond engagement ring, creating a coordinated luxury look that photographers repeatedly captured during close-up shots of her hands gripping her racket.

Against her crisp white Nike Wimbledon outfit, the silver and crystal combination stood out even more. The contrast between traditional tennis whites and glamorous nail art reflected Williams' long-standing approach to fashion, blending athletic performance with unapologetic personal style.

Serena Williams Has Always Made Nail Art Part of Her Tennis Identity

Long before celebrity nail trends dominated social media, Williams was experimenting with colorful polish, elaborate designs, and statement manicures on tour.

Over the years, she has worn neon colors, animal prints, glitter finishes, French manicures with modern twists, Swarovski crystal accents, and metallic nail art.

Her latest Wimbledon manicure continues a beauty tradition that has become almost as recognizable as her on-court achievements.

Unlike many athletes who opt for understated looks during competition, Williams has consistently embraced expressive beauty choices without compromising performance.

Wimbledon is famous for its all-white dress code, but beauty moments often become just as memorable as the matches themselves.

Most recently, Naomi Osaka made headlines for stepping onto the grounds of the All England Club in a flowing white kimono featuring dramatic swinging sleeves and intricate embroidery before her first-round match against France's Elsa Jacquemot.

Osaka's striking arrival immediately caught the attention of fans lining the walkway. One enthusiastic spectator shouted, "C'mon queen!" as the Japanese star made her way to the court. Following her victory, Osaka revealed the inspiration behind the elegant look, explaining she wanted to blend Wimbledon tradition with her Japanese heritage. "For me, my Japanese heritage means a lot. They say all white at Wimbledon and I thought it would be really cool to come out in a kimono," Osaka said.
