We turned to Naturopath and Nutritionist Anna Mitsios from Edible Beauty Australia for her expert tips on creating it with products in your cabinets. “The pink clay works to purify and strengthen, while the avocado nourishes and hydrates, add some apple cider to control excess oil production. The result is a purifying and treatment that addresses excess oil while also revitalizing lack luster and dull skin and hair,” said Anna. She whipped up a special recipe which targets both the hair and skin with two key ingredients. Get ready to be inspired a create your own version for the smoothest skin and sleekest mane ever.

What You’ll Need

-1 Small ripe avocado

- 2 Tablespoons coconut yoghurt

-1 Tablespoon apple cider

- 1 Tablespoon pink clay (Oatmeal can be used if you do not have pink clay)

- 1 Tablespoon agave or brown rice syrup

- 2-3 Drops of rosemary essential oil (Optional, this boost circulation to the hair)

Instructions

DIY Directions The Edible Beauty Australia entrepreneur gave us her expert advice on mixing up this magic potion. You’ll want to set at least 20 minutes aside to shower yourself with some TLC and follow her instructions ahead. Anna suggest mixing all ingredients in a bowl, blend well. “Add more or less coconut yoghurt to achieve your desired thickness. Apply on wet hair which has been towel dried. Start at the scalp and work your way to the tips of your hair. Leave on for 20-30 minutes and then rinse hair as normal,”explained the wellness guru.
