After once again taking center stage in Madrid for Hispanic Day celebrations, Queen Letizia returned to her public schedule today, this time abroad. She flew to Rome to attend the 2025 World Food Day ceremony, a cause she has long championed, marking the 80th anniversary of the United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization.

For the occasion, she chose her go-to look of 2025, the tailored suit, but added a new twist by pairing it with a blouse beloved by British royals. Over the past months, the Queen has made the tailored suit her uniform for official appearances, whether morning or evening events.

In the summer, she favors vibrant colors like coral or blue, crafted from lightweight fabrics and loose silhouettes. As autumn arrives, she returns to more structured, fitted designs, such as this ensemble featuring a sharply tailored blazer with structured shoulders and straight-leg trousers that elongate the figure.

The suit belongs to Carolina Herrera New York’s Pre-Fall 2019 collection, first worn in March 2023 at the Zarzuela Palace, and revisited in November of the same year.

While she often pairs it with neutral tones, she continuously refreshes the look with diverse pieces, from satin box-neck blouses to lace-trimmed camisoles, and this time, she chose a blouse with a delicate neck-tie.

To complete the outfit, she chose a striking handbag, the Toni Ballerina by Italian house Furla. Crafted in textured cream leather with a multicolored floral print, the choice may be a subtle nod to the country she was visiting. The selection stands out, as the Queen usually prefers understated handbags.

The blouse also showcases a style beloved by British royals. Yesterday, Kate Middleton met with Prince Hussein and Rajwa of Jordan, exuding classic, timeless elegance in a similar outfit, though in neutral tones.

She paired a camel suit with a white neck-tie blouse, a feminine detail she has worn repeatedly over the years. The late Princess Diana made this sophisticated touch one of her signature elements in the 1980s, and whenever the current Princess of Wales wears it, she evokes her iconic mother-in-law nearly three decades after her passing.
