Prince Harry as a Disney cast member? The Duke of Sussex can imagine it! In ABC's The Happiest Story on Earth: 70 Years of Disneyland—a TV special commemorating seven decades of the iconic theme park—King Charles' younger son remarked, "I could imagine myself working there." Meghan Markle then said, "You know, life is full of surprises."
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, who live in California, visited Disneyland Resort in Anaheim with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, earlier this year. "To see the kids throw themselves into these experiences when they have no idea what they're walking into, it was amazing," Harry said, adding, "It brings out the kid in you again."

The couple celebrated their daughter Lilibet's fourth birthday at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park, where they rode a number of attractions, including Tiana's Bayou Adventure, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Radiator Springs Racers. Meghan shared pictures and footage from the family trip in June, writing on her personal Instagram: "Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!"
The Duchess said in The Happiest Story on Earth: 70 Years of Disneyland, "I think for us to be able to have our own childhood memories and then watch that play out through our daughter’s birthday and Archie said, ‘When’s my birthday?'"
During the special, which aired on Sept. 21, Harry also recalled his 1993 visit to Walt Disney World in Florida with his brother Prince William and mom Princess Diana. "I remember it very, very well," the Duke said. Harry also remembered "losing it as a kid with all the characters." "Like losing it," the Prince confessed. "Like this is amazing."
Back then, Diana and her boys stayed at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa and their trip included a visit to the fan-favorite dinner show Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. At the hotel after dinner, Ken Wharfe, who was a bodyguard to Diana, revealed in the 2021 ABC special The Most Magical Story on Earth: 50 Years of Walt Disney World that the Princess told him, "This was a magical evening."
