The Prince and Princess of Wales reportedly celebrated their brother-in-law James Matthews last weekend. According to the Daily Mail, Pippa Middleton, 42, threw "a wild 50th birthday party" for her husband last Saturday.

Per the outlet, it's thought Pippa's sister Kate and Prince William, both 43, were at the party, along with Christian Horner, Geri Halliwell, James' brother Spencer Matthews and his wife Vogue Williams. The theme is said to have been "racy," which the Daily Mail noted could "have been a nod to hedge fund financier James's dalliance with Formula One."

The party reportedly caused an uproar in Pippa's Berkshire village. The outlet reported that the noise began in the afternoon with an elaborate Spitfire display over her house that locals were concerned would upset their dogs.

"I thought this might happen when Pippa moved in. People with money,'" one local told the Daily Mail. Another claimed that the party disturbed them until 1:30 a.m. with music coming from the estate.

It was reported in 2022 that Pippa had purchased a stately home in Berkshire. "Pippa and her family are thrilled," a friend confirmed to the Daily Mail at the time. "It’s a very exciting time in their lives. They are looking forward to living closer to her parents."

Earlier this month, the Daily Mail's Richard Eden reported that Pippa and James intend to renovate their home, with their plans including the "demolition of a 1970s extension, so as to 'enhance the arrival experience in a manner commensurate with the building's significance', and the creation of a garden room— 'a desirable feature of contemporary living' – and a new kitchen."

The Princess of Wales' sister and brother-in-law have been married since 2017. Following Pippa and James' engagement in 2016, a Kensington Palace spokesperson said that Prince William and Kate were "absolutely delighted with the news." Meanwhile, Carole and Michael Middleton stated that they were "absolutely thrilled." The Middleton patriarch said, "They make a wonderful couple and we wish them every happiness together."

Pippa and James tied the knot on May 20, 2017 at St. Mark's Church in Englefield. They now have three children: son Arthur and daughters Grace and Rose.
