Cheers to another year around the sun! Meghan Markle turned 44 on Monday, Aug. 4. According to PEOPLE, the Duchess of Sussex was going to be spending her birthday privately with Prince Harry and their two kids, Prince Archie, 6, and Princess Lilibet, 4.
This past year has been an exciting one for the mom of two. Meghan made her return to social media in January, launching her @Meghan Instagram account. Months later, the Duchess' Netflix series With Love, Meghan debuted and was renewed for a second season days after its premiere.
In February, Meghan unveiled her new brand As ever. "This new chapter is an extension of what has always been my love language, beautifully weaving together everything I cherish — food, gardening, entertaining, thoughtful living, and finding joy in the everyday," she wrote on Instagram at the time.
As ever officially launched in April, with its debut collection selling out in under an hour. Last month, the Duchess' brand released it's first-ever wine. A new vintage of As ever wine will be available this week. As ever teased on the eve of Meghan's 44th birthday that "goodness in a glass" was "right around the corner…"
The brand commemorated its founder's birthday on Monday with a black-and-white snapshot of Meghan in a garden. "Celebrating the woman behind it all," the image was captioned. "She pours her heart, vision & magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her! Happy birthday to our founder @meghan 🥂."
At the Time100 summit back in April, Meghan spoke about what she's excited for the rest of this year and going into 2026. "I think obviously focusing on our family and our children is the most important and first platform," the Duchess said. "It all stems from there, but beyond that, as I continue to work to uplift other female founders that's really using the platform of Confessions of a Female Founder to do that, to continue to expand my portfolio of investment into female founded companies because they are so underresourced and undersupported, that is very, very important to me and then the extension of, as I continue to invest in them, investing in myself with the business of As ever. Scaling that to growth and then there'll be more surprises."
