Princess Stephanie of Monaco's children have an endearing name for their late grandmother, Princess Grace. Grace Kelly died in 1982, before any of her grandchildren were born. Among her grandkids Louis Ducruet, Pauline Ducruet and Camille Gottlieb, the late Princess is affectionately called "Mémé des anges," which translates to "Grandma of the Angels," per Vanity Fair France.
Stephanie's kids, Louis, Pauline and Camille, are just three of Grace's grandchildren. The late Princess' older daughter, Princess Caroline is a mother to Andrea Casiraghi, Charlotte Casiraghi, Pierre Casiraghi and Princess Alexandra of Hanover. Grace's son Prince Albert of Monaco also has four kids: Prince Jacques, Princess Gabriella, Jazmin Grace Grimaldi and Alexandre Grimaldi.
Grace’s granddaughter, Camille, has often been compared to her maternal grandmother, which for the 27 year old is admittedly a "huge compliment." In an interview with Vanity Fair France, Camille shared (translated to English): "When people told me I looked like my grandmother, to me, I looked like 'Mémé des anges,' not like an internationally known star. It's a huge compliment and an honor to look like her. She's still the most beautiful woman in the world."
Camille also noted that, to her, Grace is "above all" her mother’s mother. She said, "I would really have liked to know her and talk with her."
Princess Stephanie's youngest daughter recently paid tribute to Grace with her look at the 2025 Monaco Red Cross Gala, wearing a bespoke dress by Elisabetta Franchi that was inspired by a dress Princess Grace wore in the 1954 Alfred Hitchcock film Rear Window. "It's an honor to pay tribute to her tonight," Camille told Gala magazine as she was getting ready for the gala. "I hope she'll be proud of me from up there. I'm definitely very happy."
Camille also spoke about resembling her grandmother, telling Gala magazine, "When I was very little, I was often told that I looked like my grandmother. For me, that's one of the best compliments anyone can give me."
"But it was especially my mother [Princess Stephanie] who said to me: 'Oh my, now you really look like the grandmother of the angels.' In certain ways of acting, even with the look," she added. "I've always been close to the Palace staff and they always say to me: 'You look a lot like Her Highness Princess Grace."
