The Grimaldi royal family, from Carlota Casiraghi to Charlene, typically unites for exceptional events, and this occasion was no different. The grand celebration of Prince Albert of Monaco’s 20 years on the throne was a powerful display of his popularity at home and of how the Grimaldis always stand by him to ensure his legacy lives on.

Not a single prominent member of the royal family wanted to miss this special occasion. Front and center were Princess Charlene and her two children, twins Jacques and Gabriella. Also present were Prince Albert’s sisters, Caroline and Stéphanie of Monaco; his nieces and nephews Andrea and Charlotte Casiraghi (only Pierre was notably absent), Alexandra of Hanover, and Louis and Pauline Ducruet, as well as Camille Gottlieb.

Other members of the family also made sure to attend the important event, including Beatrice Borromeo, Tatiana Santo Domingo, and Marie Ducruet, with even Caroline’s future son-in-law, Ben Sylvester Strautmann, present. Still, the spotlight once again belonged to the youngest members of the family. Among them were Balthazar, Stefano, and Maximilian Casiraghi, who gave us some of the sweetest and most charming moments of this big day in Monaco.

Prince Albert II, for his part, embodied the most affectionate moments of the celebration, sharing constant kisses and tender gestures with both his wife and their two children, a sight we're not often witnessing. At the same time, he immersed himself in the crowd, greeting his fellow citizens with handshakes as he made his way to the palace gates. Many of them left congratulatory messages for his two decades on the throne, some of which were shared on the official social media accounts of the Princely House.

Many of the women gathered there are true fashion and style icons, making the photos a perfect showcase of the glamour and excellent taste behind the outfits chosen for the occasion. It was a display of pure elegance, with summer-style suits and dresses worn in the pleasantly warm weather in Monaco, paired with matching accessories like the occasional hat and beautiful jewelry.

The event began in the early evening around six thirty and carried on into the night until about ten thirty, taking place in the Place du Palais. The Monegasque anthem was sung, a traditional folklore show was performed, and Rainier III’s successor gave a heartfelt speech. To wrap up the celebration, everyone enjoyed a giant cake under a colorful light display that, as expected, was a big hit with the little royals.
