The Sussex family paid a visit to the happiest place on earth! Meghan Markle revealed her family’s magical getaway with an Instagram reel on Friday. The Duchess of Sussex's video, set to Peggy Lee's "It's A Good Day," featured photos and footage of herself, Prince Harry and their two kids, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, at Disneyland Resort.
"Thank you @disneyland for giving our family two days of pure joy!" Meghan captioned the post.
At Disneyland Park, the family, who reside in Montecito, California, enjoyed a variety of attractions like Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance, Dumbo the Flying Elephant, King Arthur Carrousel and Tiana's Bayou Adventure, which opened last year. While in Anaheim, the Duke, Duchess and their kids also visited Disney California Adventure Park, where they rode Radiator Springs Racers. During their trip, the royals had the chance to meet Disney royalty: Queen Elsa from Frozen.
One photo shared by Meghan showed the family of four adorably sporting mouse ear hats. The Sussexes celebrated Lilibet's fourth birthday at Disneyland Resort. Meghan included a photo of her daughter's impressive Little Mermaid cake, as well as an image of Minnie and Mickey Mouse plush toys with a "Happy Birthday" pin for Lili and a "1st visit" pin.
The little Princess, who was born on June 4, 2021 at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital in Santa Barbara, California, turned 4 on Wednesday. Meghan commemorated her daughter's birthday with multiple posts on her personal Instagram. Alongside two black-and-white photos of herself and Lilibet, the Duchess wrote, "Happy birthday to our beautiful girl! Four years ago today she came into our lives - and each day is brighter and better because of it. Thanks to all of those sending love and celebrating her special day!"
Hours later, the mom of two posted two sweet father-daughter pictures of Lili with Prince Harry, which she captioned: "The sweetest bond to watch unfold 💕 Daddy’s little girl and favorite adventurer," adding, "Happy birthday Lili!"
Meghan also shared a headline-making video from the day Lili was born. The throwback clip showed her and Prince Harry dancing in a hospital room. In the caption, the Duchess wrote: "Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates… so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn’t work - there was only one thing left to do! 😂."
The Sussex family's trip to Anaheim isn't the first time that Harry has visited a Disney theme park. Back in 1993, the Duke traveled to Walt Disney World in Florida with his mother Princess Diana and older brother Prince William. Harry recalled the visit to the most magical place on earth during a 2016 interview with Good Morning America's Robin Roberts. “It’s one of my very, very happy memories,” Harry shared. “I went on Space Mountain 14 times. I was like, ‘This is absolutely fantastic, the best thing ever.'"
