"A huge well done to Patrick, whose bold, sustainable vision is helping to shape the future of British fashion. Their commitment to creativity, community and circular design is truly inspiring."

Patrick replied to the Waleses' post on Instagram, commenting: "Thank you so much for this honour." On their respective account, Patrick shared a photo of the Princess presenting them with the award, which they captioned: "Thank you Your Royal Highness for presenting me with this years Queen Elizabeth II award for British Design.
