As the holidays approach, Vanessa Bryant is celebrating a heartwarming new addition to her family. The philanthropist recently delighted fans by introducing her newest pup.
Alongside a photo of the small dog, Vanessa wrote simply and sweetly, “My new princess.” The post immediately captured attention, marking a joyful moment shared from the Bryant household just before the holiday season.
Vanessa, 43, has been spending meaningful time with her daughters, Natalia, 22, Bianka, 9, and Capri, 6, embracing wholesome moments amid a busy and emotional year.
Most recently, she was spotted enjoying a Disneyland visit with her girls, where she turned heads in an elegant fur coat while soaking in the magic of the day.
Earlier this month, Vanessa also shared glimpses of thoughtful holiday exchanges with close friends, including Pau Gasol and Khloé Kardashian, the latter gifting something special in honor of Kobe and Gianna “Gigi” Bryant.
The newest pup joins a household that has long found comfort and healing through dogs. In addition to the tiny white companion recently introduced in late 2024 and 2025, the Bryants are also dog parents to Loki, a black German Shepherd welcomed in March 2022.
When Loki first joined the family, Vanessa shared photos with her daughters and wrote, “My girls are happy. Big Boy~ Loki #GermanShepard.” The post marked a new chapter after the heartbreaking loss of their beloved black Labrador, Crucio, who passed away just one month earlier.
Honoring him on Instagram, Vanessa wrote, “We love you, Crucio. Thank you for everything sweet boy. Thank you for watching over us. We’re going to miss you. #GoodBoy #RestEasy.” Friends including Ciara, Lily Collins, Kyle Richards, and Kris Jenner offered support, with Jenner commenting, “So sorry Vanessa we all love you.”
The family’s love for dogs extends even further back. In June 2020, five months after the tragic helicopter crash that claimed Kobe and Gianna’s lives, Vanessa introduced a French bulldog named Bobby. Sharing a photo of Natalia holding the puppy, she wrote, “Love seeing my girls smile. Meet Bobby. Aka Bobby ganoush, bobbyrooni, bobbooshka. J/k he’s named after iceman from x-men (blue eyes).”
Vanessa has also shared tender moments with one of her smaller pups, showing just how deep the bond runs. In August 2025, she posted affectionate photos cuddling her teacup-sized dog, including one snap where the pup had a visible red lipstick mark beneath its face after being showered with kisses.
In another set of photos from November, the tiny dog could be seen resting on Vanessa’s lap before wedging itself adorably between her neck and a pillow.
For Vanessa and her daughters, their dogs are far more than companions. They represent comfort, healing, and joy during seasons marked by loss and resilience.
