Pamela and Andrea Berrondo are the proud creators of Mesa Sana. The project was born in May 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, during a time when everything was uncertain and lockdown was affecting millions. Aware of how difficult this situation was for so many families, the Berrondo sisters launched this project to share easy, healthy, and delicious recipes and inspire others to eat healthier meals. Mesa Sana is a platform that offers recipes for all kinds of cooks, featuring all sorts of meals: from salads, soups, snacks, and main courses, to desserts, all available on its website and mobile app.
Mesa Sana is much more than a simple recipe site. The project provides a detailed guide on how to prepare delicious meals with a healthy twist. The Berrondo sisters have aimed to make a difference with their work, serving as a gateway to learn about wellness, hormones, supplements, digestion, and other health topics.
The sisters understand how challenging it is to run a household and to deal with its daily demands. They want to give families healthy options while also making sure that the food that they labored over is enjoyable, not sacrificing flavor for quality. "We’re two sisters who share a passion for cooking and nutrition. We’re also moms, wives, and we know how hard it can be to come up with meals that are tasty, healthy, and easy to prepare every day," they said.
The project has been so well-received that Andrea and Pamela Berrondo have released two books: 'MESA SANA I' and 'MESA SANA II,' where they share recipes inspired by Mediterranean, Italian, Mexican, Asian, and contemporary cuisine, perfect for everyday meals as well as vacations.
"I love sharing what I’ve learned to help more women who’ve spent years searching for answers to their health imbalances."
